The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our fourth members only tournament of 2024 last Saturday on Lake Texoma. It was a very pleasant day weather wise but the conditions were not good. The lake is 7 feet high and much of it as you will see in the pictures taken at Highport Marina is muddy red water. The fish are scattered and hard to find and were not biting well. Many of our members decided this was not for them so only 20 boats came out to fish. Only one limit was weighed in and that was by our winning team of Jeremy McLeroy and Tim Clark who had five for 11.08 pounds. Big bass of the event went to Ryan Culhane and Noah Hernandez with a nice 6.22. Check out the bloody tail on that big girl!
Thanks to Hector De La Garza and Chad Grace for doing Registration and live wells really early. Thanks to Garrett Browne for keeping the money straight and thanks to Eugene McBride and Tyler Austin for running weigh in. Our next tournament is Saturday June 8th on Lake Tyler. Hoping the fishing is better and hope to see you there!
