Saturday, August 10th, 2019 – Cedar Creek Lake
The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our seventh members only tournament of 2019 on Saturday August 10th at Cedar Creek Lake. The Club fished in 102 degree heat, but we got helped by a solid south wind that kept it bearable. The fishing was downright tough. 39 boats came out to play in the hot sun and only two teams weighed a limit while 13 went home without weighing a bass. When all was said and done the team of Matt Jackson and his guest Drew Sloan took home the win with a great bag weighing 19.41 pounds. Big Bass honors went to the team of John Miller and Rick Clark with a 7.42 beast.
Thanks to James and Trey Crawford for doing early morning duty and recording weights, and David Choate for weighing fish. Thanks to Cameron for keeping the money straight and to everyone that came out to fish! Our next tournament is Saturday September 21st on our home lake Ray Hubbard. The AOY race is TIGHT!
