Saturday, April 27th, 2019 – Lake Ray Hubbard
The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our annual Open tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard on Saturday April 27th. The day was dry for a change but the wind blew like it normally does in Texas spring time. Maybe that was what kept our turnout at a disappointing 21 boats. Fishing was good for some and tough for others. Moving around the lake was difficult because of the aforementioned high winds. At the end of our day, Ray Hubbard regulars Jeff Meier and Walter Archer weighed in an impressive sack of 20.39 to take the win. Big Bass went to the second place team of Danny Barrick and Cody Jenkins with a 7.87 beast.
