The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our sixth points tournament last Saturday July 13th on Cedar Creek Lake. Fishing was summer time tough. Bites were hard to come by and big bites even harder. It was hot with not much wind but It was summer on Cedar Creek so the washing machine waves were 2-3 footers… 30 boats came out to fish and when the numbers were in the books, Tyler O’Connor and Shannon Morris came out on top with a solid bag weighing 15.35 pounds. Big Bass went to Stacie and Tony Crawford with a 4.08.

Thanks to Hector and Chad for doing registration and livewell check at a chaotic Log Cabin ramp Saturday morning. Thanks to Eugene and Tyler for running weigh in and Garrett for getting the money right. Next month we will be on Lake Tyler. The date is Saturday August 10th. If you want to fish Tyler with us plan on being at the meeting on Tuesday August 6th. See you there!
