Chris Atkinson and Tom Brouillette get the win over 30 boats on rough Bob Sandlin with big bag of 26.15 pounds!
The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our fourth members-only tournament of 2025 on Saturday, May 10th, on Lake Bob Sandlin. A cool start to the day turned into a warm and windy afternoon. Thirty boats came out to fish, and 18 of them brought five-fish limits to the scales, so fishing was pretty good, although larger bags were a bit hard to come by.
When we were done with weigh in, the team of Chris Atkinson and Tom Brouillette won the day with a big limit of 26.15 pounds. Our bag included big bass of the tournament, an 8.73-pound monster!
Thanks to Hector De La Garza and Chad Grace for doing registration, and to Eugene McBride and Tyler Austin for running a smooth weigh in. Thank you to Garret Browne for keeping the money straight.
Our next tournament is Saturday, June 14th, on Lake Richland Chambers.
