The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our third members only tournament of 2025 last Saturday, April 12th on Lake Texoma. The day got off to a chilly start with temps around 50 but it was a day to peel off layers as it was pretty warm at weigh in. The wind made moving around or fishing the main lake an issue but that didn’t stop 31 boats from coming out to fish. Texoma was its usual tricky self with big fish being difficult to find and there was a large mix of largemouth and smallmouth brought to the scales. At the end of the day, the team of Chris Atkinson and myself came out with the win with a bag weighing 15.45 pounds. We also had big bass of the tournament with a 5.04 big girl.

Our next tournament is Saturday May 10th on Lake Bob Sandlin. We’ll be going out of Titus County North Ramp. Our meeting if you want to join us at Sandlin will be on Tuesday May 6th.
