The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our second members only tournament of 2023 last Saturday March 11th on Lake O’ The Pines. The day started cold and misty and stayed that way until well past noon when we finally got a few peaks of sun. 32 boats made the long drive east to fish. Fishing was really good for most as we had 24, five fish limits weighed in. When you check the weights, it’s plain to see that the males had moved up but finding that big girl was the key to a high finish. Once we got all those fish weighed, the team of Jim Phillips and Randy Bridges came out victorious with a stout bag of 23.76 pounds. Big bass of the tournament went to Peter Husser with an 8.20 toad.
